One of the first engineering sample of the Xeon MP CPU, on Socket 603. This samples is built on the Willamette core (0.18 µm) and is ready for quad-CPU processing (MP). It was clocked at 1.4 GHz and come with 256 Kb of L2 cache and 512 KB of L3 cache. It was built in September 2001, and the first Xeon MP 512K was announced in March, 2002.
